Welcome to my new website which is a work in progress. Having been a commercial photographer since the mid 80's that included portraiture, weddings and a long stint in architectural photography (especially HABS/HAER) I'm finally focused on arty-farty photography. I still shoot with 4x5 and hi rez digital cameras and specialize in black & white like I did in the past which also works well with contact printing in alternative processes...
Recent shows include Aquarium, 2024: "Seaweed"; Elements, 2024: "Broken Piling" and ERA/Aljoya Alternative Process Photography, 2025: "Fern Light", Great Blue Heron..." and "Skimmers..."
Currently
I'm especially focused on alternative processes specifically platinum & palladium and have been dabbling in gum bichromate.
Alternative processes like platinum palladium and gum bichromate images are one of a kind - that is, custom all the way. I've added the power of the paint brush to my images for your viewing and purchasing pleasure.
I specialize in subjects such as beachy and shallow underwater scenes, old structures and unique wilderness photos using 4x5 film and or hi rez digital imaging.
